Love Blossoms Again — Lai Yin-shan Announces Plans to Remarry Next Year

(Hong Kong, 29 Sep) Lai Yin-shan, winner of the inaugural Miss Asia pageant, has confirmed that she plans to remarry next year after finding love again in her 60s.

The 62-year-old actress revealed on TVB’s Dolce Vita that she has known her current boyfriend for more than 20 years. The pair, who share the same faith, remained good friends for years before growing closer over the past two years and eventually becoming a couple.

Asked about their wedding plans, Lai smiled and confirmed: “Soon, soon. We’ll get married next year.”

Lai married actor Lau Wing in 1992 and they have two children together. Their 12-year marriage ended in divorce in 2004, after which she raised their children as a single mother.

She is now also a grandmother after her daughter, Lau Wing-sze, welcomed a baby girl. Lai said both of her children fully support her new relationship and upcoming marriage.
