Shiki Turns Up the Heat in New *A-GAME* MV, Dancing Alongside Male Dancers

(Kuala Lumpur, 30 Sep) Shi Qi (Wong Shi Qi), winner of 8TV reality show My Stage, has released her new single A-GAME, showcasing a more mature and confident side through music, dance and fashion.

After taking a slower pace over the past two years, Shi Qi admitted she received many different opinions about what she should or should not do. The experience eventually reminded her to listen to herself instead of constantly meeting other people’s expectations.

A-GAME reflects her journey of rediscovering her passion for music and learning to stay true to her own choices.

The MV adopts a strong fashion-inspired concept, featuring nine Western-style looks and new choreography. Filming lasted 23 hours, from 6am until 5am the following day. Floor choreography proved particularly challenging, requiring strong core control and leaving her knees bruised during rehearsals.

The MV also features a diverse dance team comprising street dance instructors, freestyle dancers, cheerleaders, gymnasts and models.

To prepare for the shoot, Shi Qi underwent nearly three months of fitness, stamina and dance training. Four years after her debut, she hopes A-GAME will introduce audiences to a more confident and expressive version of herself.
