(HONG KONG, Sept 27) TVB actress Nancy Wu, 45, married surgeon Akin Chan last October. She recently opened up about how they met, revealing that Bob Lam introduced them.

Nancy said she felt Akin looked trustworthy when she first saw his photo, encouraging her to lower her guard about meeting someone new. Their first meeting was not a private date but a dinner with 10 people. Akin remained calm and natural throughout the gathering without trying to impress her.

His relaxed attitude even made Nancy wonder whether he was actually interested in meeting her or whether she was simply overthinking it. The pair eventually started dating and later married.

Nancy added that after years of being independent and career-focused, marriage has taught her to consider her partner’s feelings more. She said they share similar values and lifestyles, while Akin gives her plenty of care and security.
